Musings on the nature of energy therapies
If you were to speak with a Chiropractor, he or she would be talking about subluxations of the spine.
What about energy healing? - well It’s not so easy to get a uniformed answer from energy workers or practitioners to what energy healing or therapy is.
The opposite is true with me - shutting me up is the problem. The key to understanding energy is understanding Qi - Intelligent organisational electricity. If you're a bit flummoxed with that concept, well the easiest way to view it is in embryology.
Some people are working with energy on very very different levels. And their explanations of what is occurring can be vague.
I’ve not met many that talk about things the way that I do, my approach is very physical, mental and emotional in diagnosis and treatment - the whole person and story are involved.
I deal with a scientific approach to outcomes, because that is how i have been trained. I also deal and observe for a healing in the spirit of the person.
My two great teachers regarding working with the energetic aspects of the body are very gifted men. One has been an emergency doctor in the NHS system for over 20 years and also an acupuncturist. The other a self trained and very gifted Australian whose energy medicine school reaches all over the globe.
Both trained me in relationship to the TCM model of acupuncture, but i’ve also gained very unique aspects of understanding from obscure and ancient knowledge - such as the Judaic cabalist light body, the Sepiroth, and how this is able to be utilised in treating the body/mind/emotion matrix.
With the body we are dealing with a phenomenally , phenomenally, phenomenally complex organism.
Due to the grace of design, we are able to interact subtly and in moments with strength.
In observation, pathology or disease begins in very fine fields of energy, including the mind.
It advances into the energies of the body where we can observe them as Qi, or Chi disturbances.
Blood is the origin of Qi, but Qi then commands blood.
If these pathological energies are not rectified they can travel deeper into the body to the levels of blood, then deeper again into the cells.
It can operate in reverse as well from cells outward, in keeping with the concept of a breathing universe and biology.
Qi or Chi, is teaming with both energy, information and INTELLIGENCE.
Much of this intelligence is organised into patterns - embryonic when developing and cyclic and expansive in children and adults, and robbed of energy in old age. Circadian Rhythms is a good example of one such cycle in life’s journey.
This patterning crucially allows us to influence many conditions when working with energy within and even off the body, as we can right some wrongs by correcting poor energy/information patterns by removing stagnation and stimulating sluggish rhythms with the systems.
Once the bodies vital and essential energies return to relative coherences, health has a much stronger opportunity to present itself.
And it does!
