Relationship is vital for human health and wellbeing, navigating relationships is one of the most important skills that humans can develop.

Most of us enjoy the early stages or relationships where deep patterns, wounds and traumas within us are not fully revealed, eventually though they must come into focus and be transmuted through experience and love.

When couples arrive at repeating tension points, not everyone has the experience to overcome the tension that is present or the skills to navigate the situation. That is highly understandable as your focus has usually been applied on other tasks, such as work or raising a family.

Long exposure to these unresolved tensions cause trauma. In some they cause significant trauma, you need go no further than the family court for some compelling examples.

As humans we have comprehensive resources within us, and as individuals we have innate strengths. Recognising these and bringing them into the equation in positive ways can and does make a profound difference.

Focus on the problems and negative aspects of the dynamics tends to feed the vortex of past perspectives and behaviours…neither of which have impressive track records of constructive transformation.
